These Terms govern your use of Nodels (the "Game"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

Your account is protected by your username and password. Your password is never sent to us or stored by us, so it cannot be recovered or reset. Keep it safe; anyone with your username and password can use your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Virtual items and currency

Bits, flux, shards, charge, pack tokens, gear, skins, Bytelings and all other in-game items and currencies ("Virtual Items") are licensed to you for use in the Game only. They have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for money or anything of value outside the Game, and are not your property. We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items at any time, including during testing.

4. Purchases

Real-money purchases are processed by Google Play under its terms. All purchases are final, except where a refund is required by law or granted under Google Play's refund policy. Purchased Virtual Items may be lost if your account is deleted, banned for breaking these Terms, or if the Game is discontinued.

5. Games of chance

Lucky features (spins, slots, coin flips, dice, caches and packs) use only Virtual Items. They never pay out real money or anything of real-world value, and nothing won can be cashed out. Odds for item rarity and rewards are shown in the Game.

6. Fair play and conduct

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use bots or modified clients to gain an advantage, tamper with game data, impersonate others, or harass, threaten or abuse other players. Hate speech, sexual content, spam and illegal content are not allowed in names, hub content or chat. The game network automatically rejects tampered data, and we may remove content, reset progress or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Player content

Names, avatars, hub details and chat messages you post are visible to other players. You keep ownership of what you write, and you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, display and distribute it within the Game.

8. How the Game works

Nodels runs on a network of player devices and our own server, which exchange and verify game data. The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost. Features and progress may change or be reset, especially during testing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of Virtual Items or data, arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

10. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from Social → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or end access for breaches of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the Game. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new Terms.
